A note from Wes McDonough
Hello there, friend.
Thanks for stopping by.
I’m so grateful to be writing this. There’s a lot I could tell you about how I got here, but we’ll save that for another day. Suffice it to say, it feels good to be doing this again.
What I can tell you is that Drew Yount and I have been busy making music, and we’re excited for you to hear it. The two EPs we’ve put out over the last year, plus four new songs we just finished, are being pressed to vinyl right now. The album is called We’re All Just Matter, Searching for Meaning. Ten songs, out on streaming in November. And you can pre-order the record right here, right now. I hope you will.
A full website is on the way. And we want to get back to playing shows, too. That’s where you come in.
Asking for attention online is the part of this I’ve never liked. But it’s the way it is, so I’m going to do my best to promote myself in a way that feels true, and that lets me connect with people through something I’ve loved my whole life.
So if you want to help this rebirth along, listen deeply and tell your friends. Join the mailing list. Order the record. Get something from the merch store and wear it in public. Come find me on social media.
What I can promise is that I’ll show up as myself, with love and kindness. With time to talk, and time to listen.
Be good to yourselves. Slow down when you can. Enjoy the moments. I hope we meet in a few of the ones still to come.
With love,
